Getting ready for my big departure from Australia I will be having a farewell party at the Kincraig Hotel Beer Garden to celebrate on the 26th of May at 8pm. This party is the weekend after my 20th birthday, and as I won't be here for my 21st, also my 21st birthday party. Three parties in one! If you received an invite (anyone who reads this should have) feel free to bring a friend, spouse, pet or even some random stranger from the streets! It would be awesome if everyone could make it. ) with some contact details so we can keep in touch while I'm away. Now something I really didn't want to bring up but some people have asked me what I would like as a going away present. Normally the kind of present that ties me over is a DVD of some kind, but they won't be much used to me in the capsule hostels of Japan (or maybe they will be, I'll have to go and find out!). If you are thinking of getting me something, I still need/want these things: Electric shaver, travel sleeping bag, travel towel, extra 1GB DDR2 RAM for my notebook, new wallet, clothes, eurorail & canadian rail passes, MONEY! .... wisdom? .... I'm sure this list will get longer soon enough, but that was just off the top of my head.
