Well, I'm in Rome. On the way from Venice I stopped by the leaning tower of Pisa. Only an hour and a half at Pisa, because the tower is the ONLY thing there. Went to the Spanish Steps today and a fountain which is famous but I forgot the name of. I have seen so much famous stuff now I really have trouble keeping up.

More to report in 24 hours when I go to the Vatican!

 *UPDATE* OK, well I must say, I went to the Vatican and I was very disappointed! The people are rather rude and I was in a situation where they seemed even a little .... errr .... dare I say it.. "holier than thou" kind of attitude. There is Pope Benedict merchandise everywhere. Even Pope Benedict action figures! It's riduculous and kinda shameful that religion has whored itself out like that. I was never intending to use this page to spout my opinions but it was so awful I really don't have much else to say about it.

On the other side, We (Laura and I) had absolutely no cues for the Basilica, the Vatican museum and the colosseum! That was pretty amazing thing apparently (we saw the lines coming out of the places... WOW!)

I tried to take a photo of "The Creation of Adam" in the Sistine Chapel, which photography is a big no no, but everyone else was doing it... it came out blurry. Very disappointing. Then to top my time at the vatican off I realised that I forgot to wear my iPope shirt!

The colosseum is fantastic though and I thoroughly enjoyed myself there. Check out the photos, they some pretty much everything up.
