Day 195: Preparing for Australia Day |

Hey everyone, how is everybody in the new year? I'm doing fine. Looking for jobs somewhat unsuccessfully, but still early days yet. I am preparing for my Australia Day party which will be on the 25th at 7PM, so it will be at the same time as back home. I bought sausages the other day and now all I need is the bread, the tomato sauce and, oh right, the BBQ.
Anyway, when I got the sausages I went to SuperStore. I couldn't fine them in the butchers. It had fancy sausages like ones called "apple flavoured", "maple flavoured" and "Italian bratwurst", but no ordinary sausages. I asked the butchers if he had any sausages that weren't fancy pants for Australia Day. He got annoyed at me for calling his sausages fancy pants and he didn't know what Australia Day was. I don't think asking him if there was a "real" butchers around that would make me ordinary sausages helped. Went to Sobeys afterwards, and there were big packs of ordinary sausages. I bought them. Now it's just a matter of getting a keg, which is another nightmare story for another day.....
